The Community Behind SA-MP and MTA
Decades after Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas was released, SA-MP and MTA remain among the most active multiplayer ecosystems in Europe. Roleplay (RP), Gang Wars, and Cops and Robbers communities continue to push custom Lua and Pawn scripts to new heights.
What Drives Modern SA-MP / MTA Servers?
- Open.mp Compatibility: Direct transition ensuring security patches without breaking original player clients.
- Low Hardware Barrier: Accessible to players on all computers, enabling massive 500+ player real-time economies.
- Deep Roleplay Depth: Text and voice roleplay systems with rich legal and illegal faction mechanics.
